Not all spirits are fond of houses. In this episode we explore several accounts of spirits which find themselves attached to more natural settings, as well as a particularly bizarre instance of a kitchen familiar said to aid cooks in their daily tasks. Circulating in the mid 1100’s, these stories speak of a heightened superstition and paranoia of the spiritual entities that the modern mind may yet be unfamiliar with.
